MC Hammer and Vincent "Paps" Rones are childhood friends who stuck together through all the highs and lows. From world tour concerts to the American Prison System, MC and Paps share their stories of what life is like growing up and pursuing their dreams in Oakland, California.

Paps recounts his reunion with Stanley before he went on a world tour for his music, which was a seamless transition of friendship between the years. They subsequently went on that world tour together before Paps was incarcerated later on.

They speak about Oakland in the 90s, which was not a safe place for most to grow up, and this often led to picking up on jobs and habits just to make ends meet and survive. Now that both Paps and Stanley are in a position of influence, they devote much of their energy to making the streets of Oakland a safer and more prosperous place for the community there.
